One of the world's largest plus size brands brought me to the city I love last week. I was excited, nervous, and in disbelief all at the same time. As a baby blogger this is a big thing when a brand invites you to an event and recognizes the influence that you have in the plus size community. The morning started pretty early for us bloggers with a meet-up and mingle at the new NYC flagship store on 34th street. Entering into the store was like walking the yellow brick road in OZ, there were clothes that I had never seen before, accompanied by the largest Cacique intimate department, and the most friendly Lane Bryant staff. We got straight to business after getting over the "WOW "factor of the store. They say you can always tell when bloggers are in the room because the Nikons/Canons come out for fab blog pics, while smart phones are in hand texting and hashtaging. This all happened before we enjoyed the lovely catered breakfast that LB prepared for us LOL. It's beautiful that women bloggers from all over world can network and speak the same language of fashion thanks to this Lane Bryant event.

LB Blogger Conference Part 2
After a fun filled morning of networking & mingling the party was moved to the Affinia Manhattan Hotel were we received a preview of what Team LB had in store for us fatshionista's this fall. The new fall collection is filled will a lot of our favorite trends such as, black & white, animal prints, blocking/piecing, printed & ankle pants, pencil skirts, peplums, leather/pleather touches, and blazers with LONG SLEEVES YESSS! I must say Team LB took the brand to another level with this collection. I can't wait for the clothing to hit the stores so I play stylist by putting together different looks. I may even have to take a trip back to the flagship store to stand in front of the fabulous mirrors. After the preview team LB held a Q&A session and I was very impressed that they were really interested in what we had to say. Remember bloggers are your voice to the brands please continue to leave your comment and suggestion on your favorite blogs so we can give them feed back. I had a blast at the Lane Bryant Blogger Conference 2013 during Sonsi FFFweek and I can't wait do to it all again next year!
Did you know that Lane Bryant is a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society? If you have read my blog, you would know that cancer projects are very dear to my heart due to the pasting of my close friend Danielle "Peacock" Chambers who lost her battle with Lymphoma in 2010. It's nice to know that Lane Bryant donates to a cause that I truly care about. They will have me as a customer for life just for that reason. The month of October brings out the PINK in everyone and Lane Bryant revealed that they will release a Breast Cancer Awareness Cacique Bra so that you can get your sexy pink on LOL. After hearing that news, it made me think that maybe the brand should try bringing awareness to some other types of cancers that have an effect on their customers. Hopefully I will get to see that Lime Green bra in stores that I brought up!!!! #kisscancergoodbye #makingadifference
